When I read the book of Matthew 28:19 again and again the Lord told me “ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...” I sense my call was first to the Province of Kampot. By teaching the Gospel and baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit.

I sew in Kampot province very difficult in the evangelism because many of them make us trouble a lot.

Many Churches not grow and churches member faith not strong, some churches close, and no Sunday service don’t Pray because don’t have Pastor or any leader, other church was sold and became the guest house and some churches have problem with the member or owner closing by Kampot department religion.

The challenges I face here are poor church growth; some churches operate without a Pastor or any leader, some churches had to be sold because of poor attendance.

Other pastors or leaders so weak in the faith and has many temptations all of them don’t have anybody came to incorrect and pray for them, because they are the one incorrect the church members.

When they so weak, they want to quit serve the Lord some time.

A few of these Pastors/leaders that have a church are not accountable to anyone and has no one to encourage, guide or correct and pray for them. Some of them have financial support and a ‘boss’  or association to answer to however because they are not residing in Kampot these Pastors/leaders have no one to turn to for their problems and in turn not able to be effective in their call. Resulting in loss of members and weak churches.  

In differently, some pastors still serve the Lord because they working for the boss in Phnom Penh or their associations, by taking care them and Pray for them. But still not strong because all of them live far away don’t know the problem clearly what are the real problems and temptations.

Church in Kampot don’t have unity, their job working the same place and same project, some time their fighting because their sheep. That is the reason makes the church so weak, don’t have master plan to change in Kampot, Christian afraid to go out evangelism because less of Christian.

We can’t let it going like this, the Vision to transform Kampot it not work, because they mission going fail God will (same place and same project, Christian fighting, don’t have unity…….) John 17:20-26, Rom 14:1,14 , Rom 15:5-7, Ephesians 4

So we were starting unity, (Leadership Prayer Movement) by three churches:

Hosanna Cambodia (Pastor Vutha) ; Kampot Jesus Life Church (Pastor Chaya)

Svay Tom Baptism Church (Pastor Tikea).

Guided by these verses John17:20-26, Rom 14:1, 14, Rom 15:5-7, Ephesians 4 the vision for unity resulted in the formation of Leadership Prayer Movement by Pastor Vutha of Hosanna Cambodia, Pastor Chaya of Kampot Jesus Life Church and Pastor Tikea of Svay Tom Baptism Church. 

After meeting we know that (LPM) was God will, we are unity and give glory God, and The glory of Christ fill on us (John 17:22). We were starting Pray for Cambodia and Churches mission, after we Pray God answer our Prayer and we have more vision together working many thing in unity.

We starting seminar about funeral and wedding giving experience from one other for glorify our Lord. The church member passes away we help the pastor serve in funeral to glorify Jesus (not asking Buddhism monk to help them). We also help in wedding program too, and other seminar to train them with incorrect them by Pray.

Our mission together is: Children (Bible vase competition- all the churches) Youth (Youth camp-all the churches) Lady (Lady Meeting –all the churches come every month to Pray together) and every month (all Pastors Pray together) pastor’s family retreat (spend a night every year one time).

We are so excited for our mission that God fill in leadership prayer movement (LMP) and we want to see kampot transform all of the people give thankful and glorify our Lord and hold Cambodia.

We Endeavour to help and work together as stated in the Mission Plan; seminar for wedding programmers, funeral services, monthly Pastors’ Prayer meeting, Children’s Bible verses competition, Youth Camps, Women’s monthly Prayer meeting, Pastors’ and their family Retreat to name a few.

As you can see that it is a huge call. We have the zeal and hope to see this eventually taking the course. Please pray with us to have this mission through the Leadership Prayer Movement to see Kampot transformed and churches planted and thriving.
